Tanenbaum Keale LLP associate Erin Fraser recently presented “What Would You Do? Ethical Dilemmas That Actually Happened” at the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Annual Meeting and Convention held July 19 to 22, in Winthrop, Washington.

Fraser partnered with Bullivant Houser Bailey attorneys Rachel Reynolds and Holly Brauchli where they led an engaging discussion in which they posed potential scenarios and discussed how they would address each one.

They then reviewed the applicable Rules of Professional conduct that would come into play and talked about a variety of potential ethical topics, including (1) lawyers and trial publicity; (2) the use of immigration status in civil proceedings; (3) threats to report illegal activity by an opposing party; and (4) the duty to communicate with clients.
