Tanenbaum Keale LLP partner Malika Johnson recently presented “Asbestos and Talc Litigation Update: What’s New in the Longest Running Mass Toxic Tort in the History of the United States” at the American Bar Association’s 27th Annual Spring CLE Meeting – Blowout at the Biltmore: Hot Topics in Toxic Torts & Environmental Law held in Phoenix.
“The ABA TTEL 27th Annual Spring CLE was a success,” Johnson said. “The conference addressed all issues involving litigation in the toxic tort and environmental law arenas. “
In attendance at the weekend’s meeting were in-house counsel, insurance professionals, trial counsel, professors and other industry experts.
“Our panel focused on the latest developments in talc and asbestos litigation including science, medicine and causation,” Johnson said. “We also addressed new trial trends, strategies, pitfalls and verdicts.”
