Chair Michael Tanenbaum Recognized as New York Trailblazer

Tanenbaum Keale LLP Chair Michael A. Tanenbaum was named to the inaugural New York Trailblazers list by the New York Law Journal.

Tanenbaum was selected for his pioneering use of resolution counsel, which has a goal of settling mass tort cases instead of trying to win them in court.

“You become more emotionally invested in cases you think you’re going to try or you want to try because you think the defenses are strong and the cases may be without merit. With that emotional investment, it is harder to step back and kind of evaluate the cases purely from a strategic resolution standpoint,” he told the NYLJ.

The Trailblazers were selected for making a significant mark on the practice, policy and technological advancement of their practice.
