Tanenbaum Keale LLP is pleased to share that associate Timothy Freeman received the 2021 Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the New Jersey Defense Association (NJDA) during the organization’s 55th annual convention last month in Cooperstown, New York. The honor is given to an NJDA member attorney 40 years or younger or with less than 10 years of experience.

Freeman was honored for having made a substantial contribution to the NJDA and the legal community by participating in sponsored events and seminar presentations, publishing legal articles, and performing charitable works and/or pro bono representation during the early part of his career.

“Tim continues to grow and develop as an attorney and valued member of our firm,” said Tanenbaum Keale President James H. Keale. “This is truly a deserved honor and recognition of the work he does in fostering a sense of collaboration and community in the NJDA, and he brings the same enthusiasm to the work he does for our clients.”

“I was honored to receive this award from such a terrific organization,” Freeman added. “I look forward to working with my colleagues in the NJDA on many exciting projects in the years ahead.”

Freeman focuses his practice on products liability defense. His clients include manufacturers of heavy equipment, industrial appliances, consumer products, and automobiles. He regularly provides counsel to clients in high exposure, complex litigation from the moment a complaint is filed until the final appeal is resolved.
