On Friday, October 15, 2021, an Indianapolis jury returned a defense verdict in a wrongful death case that was defended by Seattle-based, Tanenbaum Keale partner Christopher Marks and Indianapolis-based, Dinsmore & Shohl partner Douglas King. The Plaintiff’s counsel had asked the jury for $5 million at the end of a nine-day trial. The jury returned a unanimous verdict for the defense after two hours of deliberation. The trial took place in-person, with COVID-related protections in-place, before Marion County Superior Court Judge James A. Joven. Christopher focuses his practice on defending high-exposure tort matters, including product liability cases related to asbestos, consumer products, transportation and toxic torts.
