Tanenbaum Keale LLP partner Malika Johnson and associate Alice Serko will give a presentation during DRI’s Defense Lawyers Asbestos Symposium on Wednesday in New Orleans.
The daylong seminar will allow attorneys and clients to share meaningful lessons from the past year and provide attendees with up-to-date information, with tactics and suggestions to combat the plaintiff effort in asbestos and asbestos-related litigation. This includes personal experiences that led to both victories and losses in the courtroom during the last 12 months.
Their session is titled, “Thinking Like a Plaintiff: Proving Up Alternative Defenses and Shares at Trial” and focuses on preserving and presenting affirmative defenses as well as sharing issues in new ways. For a full agenda for the Symposium, please click here.
At Tanenbaum Keale LLP, Johnson specializes in complex civil litigation, focusing on toxic tort, products liability and medical devices. Serko’s practice focuses on products liability, personal/catastrophic injury, asbestos and environmental toxic tort matters. Both work from the firm’s Seattle office.
