Seattle-based partner Chris Marks will be speaking next week at the American Bar Association’s 30th Annual Motor Vehicle Product Liability Litigation Conference. For the last three decades, this comprehensive seminar has been the “go-to” program for manufacturers, insurance and risk management professionals, and outside counsel. Conference topics include Securing Accurate Information with Burned, Damaged or Fussy Electronic Data Recorders; Alternative Fuel Cell and Highly Automated Vehicle Technology; Roof Crush in Non-rollover Cases; and Accidents Involving Vehicles with ADAS technologies. Chris has a trial practice defending high-exposure tort matters, including product liability cases related to asbestos, consumer products, transportation, and toxic torts. He has tried to verdict cases involving consumer products in California, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Oregon, and Washington. Most recently, in October 2021, Chris obtained a defense verdict for an automobile importer in a case in Indianapolis, Indiana. Chris is admitted and regularly practices in California, Oregon, and Washington.
