Tanenbaum Keale LLP partner Tiffany Alexander will moderate a panel discussion this week during the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) Annual Meeting in Seattle.
The session on Thursday, July 28, is titled “On Civility … It Works!” and will include discussion on incivility “not only in politics and personal lives, but in the workplace and the legal profession.” Alexander will guide a distinguished panel of business leaders on the potential detriments on litigation management and attorney-client relationships and how a return to civility can lead to more efficient results in both the courtroom and the boardroom.
The panel includes Jeff Kelsey, Managing Director, Labor & Employment Law for Federal Express Corporation; Eric Ciesielski, Vice President, Counsel, State Farm Insurance; and Tim Pratt, Former FDCC President and EVP, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel for Boston Scientific.
The FDCC Annual Meeting starts Monday, July 25, and runs through Thursday. The FDCC is composed of recognized leaders in the legal community who have achieved professional distinction and is dedicated to promoting knowledge, fellowship and professionalism of its members as they pursue the course of a balanced justice system and represent those in need of a defense in civil lawsuits. Alexander currently serves on the organization’s board.
