Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ) recently honored Tanenbaum Keale LLP partner Tim Freeman with a 2024 Outstanding Contributor Award during the organization’s annual Fall Meeting. This distinction goes to members determined to have made significant contributions to LCJ’s established mission to reform procedural litigation rules and improve the efficiency of the U.S. civil litigation system.

An active member, Freeman previously completed the LCJ’s three-year Civil Justice Fellows Program, which enables participants to develop, write and advocate for LCJ policy positions. The organization’s Diversity and Young Lawyers Committee launched the program in spring 2019 to identify potential future leaders of the organization.

As a partnership of leading corporate counsel and defense bar practitioners, LCJ forges alliances among its members and leverages the strength of those alliances to help restore and maintain balance in the civil justice system. LCJ provides members with an amplified voice in civil justice reform through unified efforts between the business and defense bar communities in propelling reasonable reform initiatives.

Freeman focuses his practice at TK on the litigation of product liability and catastrophic personal injury matters. His clients include manufacturers of heavy equipment, industrial and consumer products, and automotive products.
