Tanenbaum Keale partner Michael A. Tanenbaum made Best Lawyers for the 21st consecutive year and now garners recognition in three different practice areas, including Product Liability Litigation – Defendants for the first time, while chair James H. Keale earned honors for the 17th year in a row. Firm president Thomas D. Robertson (14th year), and managing partner Christopher J. Keale (seventh year) also appeared on the list for multiple practice areas, with Robertson earning the distinction of Best Lawyers’ Newark Lawyer of the Year in both Appellate Practice and Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants. He also picked up an honor in the practice area of Commercial Litigation for the first time.
Partners Philip F. McGovern, Jr. and John M. Fitzpatrick also continued to earn honors from Best Lawyers in multiple practice areas, having appeared on lists for more than a decade. Partners Robert M. Gilmartin, Jr. and Marina G. McGuire (Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants) were each recognized for the first time.
