Tanenbaum Keale LLP is pleased to announce Thomas M. Wester has joined the firm as partner, building on recent growth intended to strengthen litigation capabilities in both Newark and New York.

With an accomplished private practice focused on representing insurers in the investigation and litigation of complex insurance matters, Wester brings extensive experience handling a variety of issues including commercial disputes, construction accidents and defects, trucking and transportation accidents, premises liability and property damage. He has served as special coverage counsel to major insurers defending first-party property claims and counsels primary and excess level insurers on a broad range of coverage issues.

Wester has a track record of success in representing clients in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania state venues and federal courts through all stages of the litigation process.

Recently, Tanenbaum Keale brought on a notable group of 10 attorneys, including litigation partners Catherine Bryan, William Deveau, Jeffrey O’Hara, Samuel Quatromoni and Abigail Rossman. This bolstered the firm’s bench with a team that possesses decades of experience representing sophisticated corporate clients in high-stakes litigation and represents a strategic investment to bolster its existing New York presence.

Wester’s well-earned profile as a respected insurance litigation practitioner continues Tanenbaum Keale’s momentum.

“Our firm maintains a commitment to deliberate, value-driven growth,” Tanenbaum Keale Chair James H. Keale said. “We have taken advantage of an opportunity to add resources that allow our firm to comprehensively address the full range of legal needs for our clients.”

Prior to entering private practice, Wester clerked with the Hon. Thomas R. Vena, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey. He completed undergraduate studies at Fordham University and earned his legal degree at the Seton Hall University School of Law.
