Abigail Rossman is a seasoned litigator who advises a wide variety of corporate clients involved in complex civil litigation.

With a practice that focuses on construction-related matters, Ms. Rossman regularly represents owners/developers, lessors/lessees, telecommunication carriers, general contractors and subcontractors in commercial litigation, personal injury and property damage matters arising out of construction defect, New York Labor Law, negligence and breach of contract claims in both state and federal courts. She has significant experience representing clients under Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIPs) and Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIPs) and regularly delivers presentations on the development, implementation and management of these programs

Ms. Rossman also specializes in identifying case-related issues and strategies associated with the recent RICO/fraud issues that have arisen in these cases.

In addition, Ms. Rossman defends clients in complex casualty matters in premises, transportation, trucking and automobile cases in a variety of industries involving personal injury, fatality, property damage, product liability and commercial litigation. This representation includes analyzing and understanding the unique issues faced by each client, including the need for access to an emergency response team; the existence of preexisting conditions with passengers; determinations of conformance with safety programs, training and guidelines; and investigations related to evidence and preservation.

Ms. Rossman represents clients in the prelitigation investigation stages through trial and appeal. She regularly counsels clients on the development of accident reporting procedures and safety and emergency response protocols.
