Gregory Hoffman

Gregory Hoffman’s extensive experience in civil litigation allows him to support his clients across a range of matters by developing legal strategies in line with their objectives and goals. He represents clients in commercial disputes, construction-related litigation, insurance defense and coverage matters, real estate-related disputes, and other contested business matters. Mr. Hoffman provides thoughtful counsel to his clients, aiming to provide the utmost service and craft solutions that consistently achieve favorable outcomes.

Prior to joining Tanenbaum Keale, Mr. Hoffman served as a public defender, representing individuals in criminal cases, and developed his insurance defense practice at several New Jersey law firms. His experience includes disputes involving state and local government and land use issues, and he has also previously served as a pro bono attorney focusing on housing crisis matters, addressing disputes involving possible evictions, foreclosures, and housing discrimination.

Outside of his practice, Mr. Hoffman serves on the Borough Council for the Borough of Park Ridge, New Jersey. He is a member of the municipal Planning Board, a liaison to the Taxpayers for Aircraft Noise Solutions & Safety Committee and the Recreation & Cultural Committee, enhancing his knowledge and capabilities for navigating complex real estate matters such as development approvals, variances, and site plans.
