Jay Ganatra
Associate
Mr. Ganatra focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation with a specific emphasis on product liability and mass tort matters. He handles all stages of litigation, including case management, discovery, and motion practice, and his experience also includes breach of contract, business tort, shareholder and partnership disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty actions.
Prior to joining Tanenbaum Keale LLP, Mr. Ganatra practiced complex commercial litigation at boutique law firms in New York and New Jersey. He also served as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Joseph L. Yannotti, Presiding Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. Mr. Ganatra is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Ganatra received his B.A. from Rutgers University and later earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School. During law school, he served as an Executive Editor for the Rutgers University Law Review. He was also a member of the Rutgers Law School Constitutional Rights Clinic, served as a teaching and research associate, and interned for the Honorable Esther Salas of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey.
