William T. Miedel

Mr. Miedel focuses his practice on the areas of product liability and mass torts.
He is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Arizona and before the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Miedel has been handling product liability and mass tort litigation matters for the past 16 years. He has represented industrial equipment manufacturers, automotive manufacturers, automotive component manufacturers, and contractors.
Prior to his focus on product liability and mass tort litigation, Mr. Miedel had experience with commercial litigation defense.
Mr. Miedel successfully moved on behalf of his clients to have a mass tort action transferred from the Southern District of New York to the Southern District of Texas. Hulen v. Cran Co., 12 Civ. 7614 (August 27, 2013) (S.D.N.Y.) (Keenan, J.).
Mr. Miedel successfully opposed the joint trial of four mass-tort cases pending against a client, In re Seventh Judicial District Asbestos Litigation (Ballard), 191 Misc.2d 625 (Monroe County 2002).
