Tanenbaum Keale LLP is pleased to share associate Alice Serko has earned selection to the exclusive Ladder Down Program, the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) and the FDCC Foundation’s interactive professional development program for women. Only 24 participants were chosen for the 2022 program, which includes monthly large group interactive series plus small group accountability sessions.

The program will conclude with a virtual graduation ceremony in March 2023.

The Ladder Down Program seeks to “enhance lawyers’ ability to exercise self-determination in their careers, to effectively compete for leadership positions in their firms, to negotiate alternative work arrangements (if desired), and to successfully pursue professional opportunities.” The FDCC wants to empower women in these critical areas through training and accountability.

Learning objectives include:

  • Best practices for business development.
  • Effective self-promotion.
  • Understand the myths and barriers that undermine effective follow-up with decision‑makers.

The FDCC is composed of recognized leaders in the legal community who have achieved professional distinction and is dedicated to promoting knowledge, fellowship and professionalism of its members as they pursue the course of a balanced justice system and represent those in need of a defense in civil lawsuits.
