Tanenbaum Keale partner Robert Gilmartin recently helped lead a roundtable breakout session during the three-day Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC) Spring Conference in Nashville. A co-chair of the organization’s developing developing Heavy Equipment Group, he enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate with other in-house and outside counsel for an informal discussion on priority litigation trends and concerns relevant to manufacturers for the construction, mining and agricultural industries, among others.

PLAC is a specialty legal association that benefits product manufacturers and suppliers by bringing together business leaders, in-house counsel and private legal practitioners who share a common goal of managing risk throughout the entire product life cycle. Members share collective knowledge and experiences and, in turn, deepen understanding of emerging risks and legal challenges in the current litigation and regulatory landscape.

The annual spring conference brings together members by invitation only.

Gilmartin’s private practice focuses on the defense of litigated product liability matters, and he has extensive experience in the construction and mining equipment industries.
