Tanenbaum Keale LLP is pleased to announce five partners earned repeat distinction in the 2024 edition of Best Lawyers in America, a peer-reviewed guide highlighting attorneys for outstanding legal work in particular practice areas and jurisdictions. In addition, three associates were honored in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch category, which includes rising attorneys in the first 10 years of private practice.
This year’s recognitions included Co-Chair James H. Keale being named Lawyer of the Year in Newark, New Jersey, for the Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants practice area. He was honored in Best Lawyers for the 15th year in a row in two practice areas (Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants, and Product Liability Litigation – Defendants).
TK Co-Chair Michael A. Tanenbaum made Best Lawyers for the 19th consecutive year for Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants, and Firm President Thomas Robertson (12th year), and Managing Partner Christopher J. Keale (fifth year) also continued to garner distinction. All four were honored in Newark, and Seattle Managing Partner Christopher Marks is now a four-time honoree in Product Liability Litigation – Defendants while earning initial recognition this year in Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants and Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants.
TK associates Pamela Kaplan (fourth year), Arshia Hourizadeh (third year) and Josephine Reina (first year) all earned recognition in Ones to Watch for Newark. Kaplan increased her recognitions from two practice areas to four, while Hourizadeh added a fifth. Reina debuted with three practice area distinctions.
