Four TK Attorneys Serve as NJ LEEP Mock Trial Coaches

Tanenbaum Keale partners Robert Gilmartin and Marina McGuire and associates Pamela Kaplan and Omari Reid recently served as coaches for NJ LEEP’s Summer Law Institute Mock Trial Competition.

NJ LEEP’s Summer Law Institute is a five-week course on criminal law and criminal trial process. Attorney volunteers help rising ninth-grade students practice for the mock trial competition, and this year’s sessions were conducted via Zoom conferencing.

A college access and success program serving students and families in the greater Newark area, NJ LEEP (Law and Education Empowerment Project) provides a College Bound Program that empowers middle and high school students with both the academic and social-emotional skills necessary to succeed in their educational and professional endeavors.
